What can I write about
We need people to write for the blog, can you help? You can write about anything you want as long as it is connected with Northampton in some way. If you need some prompting to get you started here are a few ideas to set you thinking. You don't have to answer all the questions, just choose a subject and write as much or as little as you choose and if appropriate send us a couple of photos to illustrate your writing

ReplyDeleteFranklin's Gardens Revisited
ReplyDeleteThe Welshman sings of Dewi Bebb,
Whilst pipes may skirl for Peter Brown,
In Guinness, the Irishman toasts Jackie Kyle,
Yet! return with me to Northampton Town!
Roll back the years unto the time
Don White led out the team,
Ten England Internationals,
A rugby football connoisseur's dream!
Jim Hetherington, Johnny Hyde,
Butterfield, Cannell, Sykes and Winn,
At the base of every scrummage - Jeeps,
With a pass like the point of a pin!
Ron Jacobs strikes, against the head
And through the scrummage channel to Jeeps,
A long pass out to Ricky Winn,
From Butterfield on to Cannell.
With blistering pace, Sykes takes the pass -
A full-back dives in vain!
What would I give to be back then
To see those "SAINTS" again!
OK people, who remembers the NGS Revue 74 ???
